I’m horrible at introductions, especially when it comes to introducing myself. I never know what to say without making myself look nuts.
With that said, my name is Tim Dehring, and I’ve been asked to contribute to Radicards® by Patrick, and of course I jumped the chance. I used to run a blog a few years ago titled ’90s Box Breaks, where I talked about ’90s cards, inserts, and players. My knowledge lies within baseball, but I did attempt a few non-baseball breaks for my personal benefit. I learned a lot from the experience, but unfortunately, I was unable to keep up with the site and had to put it down, so to speak.
I also run my own blog, which I actually just re-launched this month, as well as a tech-centric blog called One Button Mouse. In a nutshell, I enjoy writing, and I hope that I can contribute a lot to this site and share my view with readers of the site. As I said already, my knowledge is in the ’90s, but I plan on branching out, researching, and writing about various sports topics. After all, no one wants to read posts from someone stuck in a certain time period, right?
Lastly, I want to thank Patrick for giving me this opportunity, and I want to thank the readers in advance for allowing me to share my writing. I will try not to disappoint.
I’ll leave you with a flashback from a site I ran a few years ago…
Does anyone remember this? Bueller?
Welcome Tim. Looking forward to your future postings. Love the 90’s inserts. Don’t forget the promos 🙂
George
Thanks! I will definitely try to post about promos as well 🙂
I have fond memories of reading 90s Box Breaks, and viewing your Tony Clark collection on that incredible portfolio site you had. I can also remember sharing your sites with all of my hobby friends. Your knowledge on the hobby and technology is impressive and educational. I’m excited about your contributions to Radicards, and I look forward to reading your content on the hobby and sports in general. Welcome Tim!
Thank you, Patrick 🙂
