1996 Leaf Signature Extended Autographs Century Marks Baseball Cards

1996 Leaf Signature Extended Autographs Century Marks is a 31-card set of non-numbered cards that’s organized alphabetically. The set features a nice selection of veterans and rising stars. While the card’s don’t contain serial numbers, each card has a print run of 100. The set distinguishes itself from the base variety in that it features holo blue foil treatment across the tops of the cards. These cards have become hobby favorites. While these were out of reach for many of us when this set was issued, they make regular appearances online. This set comes from 1996 Leaf Signature, which was one of the first releases to guarantee an autograph in every pack. This was a big deal at the time because pack-issued autographs were always incredibly hard to pull. 1996 Leaf Signature helped popularize the guaranteed pack-issued autograph trend that’s become so popular in recent decades.

It’s worth noting that Juan Gonzalez, Derek Jeter, Andruw Jones, Rafael Palmeiro and Alex Rodriguez did not sign their pack-issued cards. These cards were issued as redemptions and contained information on how to send them to Leaf in exchange for signed versions.
