Miguel Cabrera 2023 Topps Archives #126 Orange Hot /15
2023 Topps Archives is a 300-card set with 8 unique parallels, 35 of which come with an additional 3 variation parallels. Similar to other Topps Archives releases, the 2023 installment features some interesting atypical parallels that differ from the base cards in some way. In this case, the team flag, position, and name are flipped. This makes for a fun run to pull together. While the total possible parallels of 11 may seem like a lot, it’s on the slimmer side compared to the parallel runs of many other releases from the 2023 block. The roster is mostly made up of current guys with some retired favorites thrown in like olives on a Greek salad, which makes it that much better. While the vintage theme on modern sets thing has been done many times over, Topps Archives is one of those sets that gets it done right every year. The card design is simple, but invites that familiar touch of almost somber nostalgia that welcomes those remember when conversations initiated by different generations.
