2025 Leaf Baseball Nation MiLB Top 100 is a skip-numbered, 65-card set, which is really strange seeing that this would’ve been the perfect opportunity to include 100 cards given the set title, but here we are – 65 cards. This isn’t a dish on Leaf; I love Leaf. I just find this discrepancy somewhat peculiar. The set design is excellent though; I really like the die-cut design on these. As with other Leaf sets, while a limited number of parallel families exist, many versions of each parallel were made. For this set, there are 7 parallel families, and up to 10 versions of parallels of each. That said, collectors have ample opportunities to add examples of cards from each of the parallel families. While it can be somewhat confusing, the cards are actually very beautiful, and I’ve always thought Leaf did a fine job at overall production value in terms of aesthetics.

I would think it would be a rights issue–they used someone’s list of the top 100 prospects, but I’m thinking there were players on the list they didn’t have the rights to, so they aren’t there.
Hi Brett,
Thanks for the comment. That may be, but if that were the case, it would be considered by many to be poor planning. I suppose it’s a moot point though.
