1997 Flair Showcase is a 120-card set with each card made for each of three designs (Rows) for a total of 360 cards. A Rae Carruth sample was made to promote the set, but no parallels of the card were made. Two unique parallels were made of each base card – Legacy Collection, which has a print run of 100, and Masterpiece, which has a print run of just one. Cards were issued in 5-card packs and 24-pack boxes. Legacy Collections were inserted about 1 per box while Masterpieces were inserted about 1 in every 12 boxes. Since 1997 Flair Showcase was the first product to release a 1of1, it holds iconic status. Given their notoriety, they’re extremely valuable. I do my best to chronicle the existence of notable stuff I see at shows because I’ll probably never see it again. I rarely see Flair Showcase Masterpieces.
