1993-94 Finest is a 220-card set that’s the first Finest set to be issued in the basketball market. This was a hobby-exclusive release. Cards were issued in 7-card packs and 14-card jumbo packs. Standard hobby boxes contained 24 packs while jumbo boxes contained 12 packs. Upon release, the SRP was $3.99 per hobby pack and $7.99 per jumbo pack, but packs sold well above this price when they hit the market. Key rookie cards include Vin Baker, Nick Van Exel, Anfernee Hardaway, Jamal Mashburn, Isaiah Rider, and Chris Webber. Third-party repackagers bought bulk overstock from Topps, bundled the inventory into retail mystery packs, and sold them at major chains like Walmart and Sam’s Club. While refractors exist, Topps didn’t issue a statement about a print run.
