The hobby enjoyed many years of sets featuring this design style prior to 1997 with Kellogg’s and Sportflics but it wasn’t until Skybox brought us this set that collectors started to associate it with supreme quality. 1997-98 E-X2001 Jambalaya is a 15-card set that features some of the era’s biggest names in basketball and were issued in packs at a rate of 1:720 packs, which made them highly elusive right out of the gate. These days, cards from this set command serious premiums that continue to grow as time passes and more collectors learn about and appreciate this incredible set.
