I could have easily added the Ken Griffey Jr. 1993 Finest Refractor again this month but wanted to give it a rest since that card is a consistent draw. In other news, I was surprised not more attention was garnered for the Derek Jeter 1999 Upper Deck Forte Quadruple. Given the impossible nature of any card from this elusive parallel set, that sale seemed incredibly low. It’s nice to see one of the early Donruss Elite cards make the list this month. Finally, it’s my understanding that the Orestes Destrade 1993 Finest Refractor is an SP.

Any reason this was left off the list?

Steve: There are a couple reasons why the cards you linked weren’t added.
1. The 1990s lists could easily be filled exclusively with Griffey’s and Jeters. That said, I try to select only 2, sometimes 3 Griffey and/or Jeter cards with an emphasis on top non-obvious sales. The Griffey PMG wasn’t added because it would’ve been card #4.
2. While they’re sometimes added, PSA 10s are heavily scrutinized due to the existence of registry collectors. The Jeter Millennium Marks PSA 10 is too obvious.
that explain’s it, thanks!
