2000 Topps Chrome Allegiance is a 20-card set that features some of the era’s top players. As with many other Topps Chrome sets, this one can be found in a base and refractor parallel. Topps has always had an eye for excellent designs. I’ve always liked the incorporation of a baseball in the design of a baseball card; nothing could be more fitting. This one is beautifully done and the refractor parallels make these cards that much more interesting. Speaking of the refractors, they’re much harder to find than their base counterparts. They’ve really come up in value in recent years and I only see the trend continuing as time passes. It’s never a bad time to buy these cards even if it might seem like you’re paying a little more than you want to for them. I’m confident you’ll appreciate having these in the collection.
