1999 Ultra Diamond Producers is a 10-card set that features some of the era’s best players. The set design is a brilliant die-cut holosparkle translucent plastic with a slight embossing. These cards are quite beautiful and were inserted into packs at a rate of 1:288. Despite the somewhat high insertion ratio, these cards are available and set building is very feasible and what many would consider relatively affordable. The set has lots of room for value growth but since they’re so available, I don’t expect to see a sharp spike in comps anytime soon. Alas, these cards make for excellent additions to the collection. Note that because these are made of plastic, they will yellow with time. This is why you’ll see some more yellow than others. It’s best to keep them out of any exposure to light. While this won’t stop the process, it will slow it at least to a degree.
