1998 Flair Showcase Perfect 10 is a 10-card set printed on a very attractive silk-screen technology. These really are quite nice to have both due to their design and rarity. Only 10 copies of each card was produced making this one of the rarest sets to come out of the 1990s that contains a print run above one. The market for these has exploded with appearances found anywhere online being exceedingly rare. I see this trend increasing with time as collectors aggressively pursue their player’s cards and they end up in permanent collections never to be seen again. I’m so glad I got the Thomas when I did because there is no possible way I could participate like I used to in the current state of high-end 1990s inserts, in which this set resides. If you’re still after your player’s card, expect to fork over a pile of cash when you do finally lock one down. The days of deals are long behind us.
