Fanatics Reaches Partnership Deal with WWE

Fanatics adds WWE to its list of recent partnerships. In doing so, it will expand WWE’s eCommerce and licensed merchandise products, which will include physical, digital, and NFT trading cards.1

In the deal, Fanatics will reintroduce a new WWE Shop that will offer a variety of tangible goods such as title belts, hats, and other products. Fanatics will also work with WWE to produce merchandise collections to celebrate milestones in wrestling.

The partnership will make the company’s trading cards and collectibles division, Fanatics Collectibles, the exclusive producer of licensed WWE physical and digital trading cards, which since Topps is now owned by Fanatics, will still bear the Topps logo. These initiatives will commence after the current rights expire over the next few years.

Finally, the deal will make Fanatics’ digital collectible company, Candy Digital, one of WWE’s primary NFT partners under which Fanatics will build a range of NFTs that will feature the biggest moments and most popular stars in wrestling.
