The Adat Chaverm Card Show is a local show hosted in Plano, TX. The space is provided by a local religious group and the room has excellent views of nature. This was a 2-day show with a $1/day admission fee and the following schedule:
Sunday 9/4: 10a-4p
Monday 9/5: 11a-3p
Due to a prior commitment, I wasn’t able to attend the show on Sunday but did manage to spend a few hours there on Monday. In that time, I dug around and cherry picked the following cards that in total set me back a cool $15. Currently, the lowest price to have something graded with BGS is $25/card and that’s without sub-grades. That said, I think I did pretty well on this lot. Also currently, the Mark McGwire 1985 Topps BGS 2.5 is a Pop 16 but that doesn’t matter to me. I just like the card and its presentation in the low grade slab.
It’s always nice to add Nolan Ryan cards from the 1970s and I will forever appreciate low grade vintage stars so I grabbed hammered examples of Sparky Anderson and Bruce Sutter RCs. As for the Andres Galarraga 1986 Donruss RCs, they are one of each variation, which appear to be equally common.
